3. Prohibited & Excluded Content

The following content types are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate denial:

  • Advertisements: Content purely intended to sell a product without a newsworthy element.

  • Sensitive Items: Sale of firearms, 3D-printed guns, or weapon components.

  • BlackHat SEO: Keyword stuffing, link buying/selling, or paid social media followers.

  • Malicious Content: Content intended to incite hatred, racism, or violence, or to defame, stalk, or "exact revenge" on an individual or group.

4. Specialized Legal & Political Guidelines

Legal News

  • Must Include: Case number, court of record, or complaint number.

  • Allowed: Announcements of lawsuit victories (attributed to court documents).

  • Prohibited: Intentions to file a case, interpretations of pending cases, or potentially libelous depictions of individuals.

Political News

  • Requirements: National campaigns must use an email address associated with their campaign website. Local races must provide a LinkedIn handle if a website is unavailable.

  • Content: Must focus on policies and goals. Releases must not be "accusational or negative." Opinions must be formatted as quotes and attributed to the organization.

5. Editorial Review Process
